Juan Moren
Career Overview
Juan Salinas, who changed his name to Juan Moren in 1979, competed from 1978 through 1993 and was one of the standout defensive players of the early NBBA era.
He played for the Houston All Stars and then became a mainstay with the Houston Bayou Bombers from 1979 through 1993. He also appeared with the Houston Express in 1993.
Juan was known as a clutch performer who elevated his game in high pressure situations and anchored Houston’s defense during some of the franchise’s strongest seasons.
