Career Overview

Neal McDonald competed from 1987 through 2009 and returned again in 2013, building a career defined by championship level success, defensive consistency, and offensive impact.

He began with the North Bay Nemesis from 1987 through 1989, then played for the East Bay Blaze from 1990 through 1992 and the Sacramento Thrashers in 1993. He became a cornerstone of the West Coast Dawgs from 1994 through 2003 and again from 2005 through 2009. In 2004 he competed with the Oklahoma City Bombers, and in 2013 he was listed with the Carolina Warriors.

Neal played in 20 NBBA World Series between 1987 and 2009 and was named to the NBBA Top 30 Players 30/30 All Time Team in 2006, a distinction that clearly signaled Hall of Fame caliber standing.
