Quick Help / Reference

1. Start the game
Choose Quick Game for manual entry, or Tournament Game to sync rosters for a selected tournament and then choose the away and home teams.

2. Set the lineup
Synced tournament rosters load into the bench first.
Turn on Edit Batting Order to move players into the 6 starting batting spots and assign at least 1 pitcher.
If a DH is used, assign a DF as well. When the lineup is ready, turn Edit Batting Order off.

3. Before scoring begins
Do not begin until all 6 starting batting rows are filled, at least 1 pitcher is assigned, and the DF is assigned if DH is being used.

4. Score a play
Use the jump to batter button to go to the correct player row and inning cell and choose the result. Tracking the count is optional. After entering result, cursor will move to the next batter.
For putouts, double plays, and triple plays, choose the defender and enter S, M, or D so the defensive zone is tracked in the workbook.

5. Edit or fix a play
Open the same scoring cell again to change or clear it.
Pitcher rows also include a Fix option for pitcher stat corrections.

6. Manage innings and game completion
Use End Top Half or End Bottom Half after each half inning.
At the end of the 6th inning and later innings, the scorecard will prompt you to complete the game, continue play, or make edits instead of forcing the next inning automatically.

7. Substitutions
Turn on Start Substitution above the correct team table, choose the player coming out, then choose the player coming in.
Appearance history is kept in the same batting slot and rows are labeled as Starter, Sub, and Re-entry.
A player who leaves the lineup must remain out for 6 outs before re-entering, or 3 outs if the 12-run rule is active. Injury Override can be turned on during substitution mode for a one-time emergency re-entry.

8. Save your work
Use Save Stats and Scorecard to save the workbook to your device.
The workbook includes game information, team stats, pitcher stats, a scorecard copy, a full game log, and score keeper notes.

9. Offline use
After tournament rosters have already been synced, or when using a Quick Game, the scorecard will remain usable offline for scoring, saving the workbook, and starting a new game.
Go Live still requires a connection and the event password.

10. Screen reader navigation
Inside the scorecard tables, Tab moves forward one editable cell, Shift+Tab moves back,
Focus will remain inside the table while you work through lineup, batting order, substitutions, and scoring.

Start a New Game?

Your current game is autosaved on this device. Starting a new game will replace that saved game. Save Stats and Scorecard first if you want a separate copy.

If you continue, your synced tournament rosters will remain available, but the scorebook will be cleared and you will reselect the teams from the dropdowns.
